Terms and Conditions of Services Provided

Sleep Support Terms and Conditions 

1.        I understand that The Motherhood Midwife cannot guarantee the outcome of any sleep plan put in place for my baby/toddler/child and that results will vary based on a wide variety of factors.

2.        I understand that The Motherhood Midwife uses behavioural interventions and cannot help with any underlying medical or psychological causes of sleep issues.

3.        I understand that The Motherhood Midwife is only obligated to provide the support listed in the package description and within the timeframe mentioned. Additional support will be charged accordingly.

4.        I understand that all purchases are non refundable.

5.        Cancellations and changes must be made with at least 48hrs notice. If changes or cancellations are made within 48hrs, The Motherhood Midwife will not refund any deposits paid.

6.        I understand that The Motherhood Midwife is giving advise in her capacity as a sleep consultant and NOT as a Midwife or health professional.

7.        I understand that the recommendations provided during consultation is not a substitute for medical advice. Always seek advise from your doctor regarding any concerns about your child's health. Should your child have any medical issues, it is recommended that you speak to your healthcare provider regarding any sleep training strategies before implementing them, to ensure they are suitable for your child.

8.        I understand that The Motherhood Midwife is not responsible for your child’s safety or the safety of their sleep environment during the implementation of the sleep plan.

9.        I understand that The Motherhood Midwife advises to keep baby’s below 6 months old in the same room as the care giver for all sleeps (day and night)

10.   I understand that The Motherhood Midwife advises to use a video monitor for all babies and toddlers above the age of 6 months who are sleeping in a separate room whilst conducting sleep training to help ensure their safety.

11.   I understand that The Motherhood Midwife advises to follow The Lullaby Trust safe sleep guidelines before implementing any changes to sleep through sleep training.

12.   I understand that under no circumstances will The Motherhood Midwife be liable to you for any claims, losses, injury, death or damage as a result of reliance on the information provided. The Motherhood Midwife does not accept responsibility for errors, omissions or contrary interpretation. Using this plan is solely at your own risk.

13.   The information provided is subject to Copyright Law. It must not be shared or reproduced without prior written permission from The Motherhood Midwife.

Home Visit T&C’s

1. Service Description

The Motherhood Midwife provides home support for parents and their babies on matters including sleep, feeding (breast and bottle feeding), and unsettled behaviour such as colic, reflux, and allergies. While I offer guidance and recommendations, I do not diagnose medical conditions. It is the responsibility of the parent(s) or guardian(s) to consult a GP or healthcare professional for any medical concerns or diagnoses.

2. Liability Disclaimer

By booking a service with The Motherhood Midwife, you acknowledge and agree that the services provided are not intended as a substitute for medical advice or treatment. The Motherhood Midwife is not liable for any adverse effects, conditions, or changes to your child’s health during or after the provision of services. It is your responsibility to ensure that your child is under the appropriate ongoing care of a GP or healthcare professional and that any medical conditions have been properly diagnosed and treated.

3. Safe Sleep Guidelines

It is strongly recommended that parents/guardians follow the Lullaby Trust's Safe Sleep guidelines at all times. The Motherhood Midwife will not be held liable for any incident, injury, or harm that occurs as a result of non-compliance with safe sleep practices.

4. Appointment Cancellations and Rescheduling

A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required for the cancellation or rescheduling of appointments. Failure to provide adequate notice will result in the full fee for the service being charged. If you need to change your appointment, please contact The Motherhood Midwife as soon as possible to ensure a smooth rescheduling process.

5. Non-Refundable Policy

All payments for services provided by The Motherhood Midwife are non-refundable. Once a booking has been confirmed, no refunds will be issued for cancellations or missed appointments.

6. Payment Terms

A £50 deposit may be taken at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due within 5 working days of receiving the invoice following your home visit.

7. Agreement to Terms
